Bay Hill is located at (28.454937, -81.505676). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.4 km2), of which 2.4 square miles (6.2 km2) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.3 km2), or 4.01%, is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5,177 people, 1,786 households, and 1,500 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 786.9/km² (2,038.0/mi²). There were 1,947 housing units at an average density of 296.0/km² (766.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 85.11% White, 2.28% African American, 0.17% Native American, 9.52% Asian, 0.64% from other races, and 2.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.70% of the population.
There were 1,786 households out of which 39.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.3% were married together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.0% were non-families. 12.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.90 and the average family size was 3.17.
Bay Meadows Elementary School
Bay Meadows Elementary is located in southwest Orange County at 9150 S. Apopka-Vineland Road. The school was built in 1990 and renovated during the 2005-06 school year. It is an attractive structure of modular design with seven permanent buildings. We have a one of a kind children’s interactive garden, two state of the art computer labs and a PTA supported publishing center.
Special programs include physical education, music, art, and media. ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) is taught within the each classroom by the classroom teacher. In addition, enrichment, specific learning disabilities, speech/ language classes, varying exceptionalities and strings are available to students who qualify. The school offers an Extended Day Enrichment Program for early drop off and after school care.

Greetings Titans, Academics, arts, and athletics – we excel in all three areas. In a little over a decade, Olympia High School has become a premier public high school. Olympia has earned an A rating for five consecutive years. We offer students top notch experiences in band, chorus, drama, and orchestra. Collectively, our sports teams were ranked 10th in the 8A state standings at the conclusion of the 2014-15 school year. Our sports teams also finished in the Top 10 in the State of Florida for overall sports team GPAs with 18 of our 29 varsity sports teams having a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher.
